The Buddha teaches the four factors of stream-entry regarding great wisdom—experiential confidence in the Buddha, teaching, and Saṅgha, and ethical conduct loved by the noble ones.
“Cattārome, bhikkhave, dhammā bhāvitā bahulīkatā mahāpaññatāya saṁvattanti. Katame cattāro? Sappurisasaṁsevo, saddhammassavanaṁ, yonisomanasikāro, dhammānudhammappaṭipatti— ime kho, bhikkhave, cattāro dhammā bhāvitā bahulīkatā mahāpaññatāya saṁvattantī”ti.

“Mendicants, when four things are developed and cultivated they lead to great wisdom.
Katame cattāro?
What four?
Sappurisasaṁsevo, saddhammassavanaṁ, yonisomanasikāro, dhammānudhammappaṭipatti—
Associating with true persons, listening to the true teaching, rational application of mind, and practicing in line with the teaching.
ime kho, bhikkhave, cattāro dhammā bhāvitā bahulīkatā mahāpaññatāya saṁvattantī”ti.
When these four things are developed and cultivated they lead to great wisdom.”
