Tassuddānaṁ
Tathāgataṁ padaṁ kūṭaṁ,
mūlaṁ sāro ca vassikaṁ;
Rājā candimasūriyā,
vatthena dasamaṁ padanti.
The Buddha teaches a repeated formula on the four absorptions regarding diligence, showing how they are developed and cultivated to incline the mind toward extinguishment in this grouped discourse.
