What qualities make a woman disagreeable or agreeable to a man.
“Pañcahi, bhikkhave, aṅgehi samannāgato mātugāmo ekantaamanāpo hoti purisassa. Katamehi pañcahi? Na ca rūpavā hoti, na ca bhogavā hoti, na ca sīlavā hoti, alaso ca hoti, pajañcassa na labhati— imehi kho, bhikkhave, pañcahi aṅgehi samannāgato mātugāmo ekantaamanāpo hoti purisassa.
“Bhikkhus, when a woman possesses five qualities, she becomes |extremely disagreeable::utterly undesirable [ekantaamanāpa]| to a man. What five? She is not beautiful, not |wealthy::prosperous, rich [bhogavant]|, not |virtuous::ethical, moral [sīlavant]|, lazy, and she bears no children. Bhikkhus, when a woman possesses these five qualities, she becomes extremely disagreeable to a man.
