The Buddha teaches on things that fuel grasping, applying the analysis of the five aggregates—form, feeling, perception, choices, and consciousness—to insight and release.

“Upādāniye ca, bhikkhave, dhamme desessāmi upādānañca. Taṁ suṇātha.
Katame ca, bhikkhave, upādāniyā dhammā, katamaṁ upādānaṁ?
Rūpaṁ, bhikkhave, upādāniyo dhammo, yo tattha chandarāgo, taṁ tattha upādānaṁ.
