The Buddha teaches on the six sense bases regarding the exterior as impermanent, guiding disciples toward discernment of sense experience and release from clinging.

SN 35.225 The Exterior as Impermanent

“Rūpā, bhikkhave, aniccā. Saddāgandhārasāphoṭṭhabbādhammā aniccā.

Evaṁ passaṁ …pe… nāparaṁ itthattāyāti pajānātī”ti.

Reference Translation by Bhikkhu Sujato (CC0).
