With a thousand bhikkhus, all former matted-hair ascetics, the Blessed One goes from Uruvelā to Gayā’s Head. The fire sermon spoken there is SN 35.28. While it is spoken, the thousand are liberated.

KD 1.13 Ādittapariyāya - At Gayā’s Head

Atha kho bhagavā uruvelāyaṁ yathābhirantaṁ viharitvā yena gayāsīsaṁ tena pakkāmi mahatā bhikkhusaṅghena saddhiṁ bhikkhusahassena sabbeheva purāṇajaṭilehi. Tatra sudaṁ bhagavā gayāyaṁ viharati gayāsīse saddhiṁ bhikkhusahassena.

Then the Blessed One, having stayed at Uruvelā as long as he wished, set out for Gayāsīsa with a great Saṅgha of bhikkhus, a thousand bhikkhus, all of them former matted-hair ascetics. There the Blessed One stayed at Gayā, on Gayā’s Head, together with the thousand bhikkhus.

The discourse spoken here is SN 35.28 — The Fire Sermon.

Imasmiñca pana veyyākaraṇasmiṁ bhaññamāne tassa bhikkhusahassassa anupādāya āsavehi cittāni vimucciṁsu.

And while this exposition was being spoken, the minds of that thousand bhikkhus were liberated from the taints through non-clinging.
