AN 7.10 Stinginess

“Sattimāni, bhikkhave, saṁyojanāni. Katamāni satta? Anunayasaṁyojanaṁ, paṭighasaṁyojanaṁ, diṭṭhisaṁyojanaṁ, vicikicchāsaṁyojanaṁ, mānasaṁyojanaṁ, issāsaṁyojanaṁ, macchariyasaṁyojanaṁ. Imāni kho, bhikkhave, satta saṁyojanānī”ti.

Dhanavaggo paṭhamo.

Tassuddānaṁ

Dve piyāni balaṁ dhanaṁ,
Saṅkhittañceva vitthataṁ;
Uggaṁ saṁyojanañceva,
Pahānaṁ macchariyena cāti.

What seven?

Anunayasaṁyojanaṁ, paṭighasaṁyojanaṁ, diṭṭhisaṁyojanaṁ, vicikicchāsaṁyojanaṁ, mānasaṁyojanaṁ, issāsaṁyojanaṁ, macchariyasaṁyojanaṁ.

The fetters of attraction, aversion, views, doubt, conceit, jealousy, and stinginess.

Imāni kho, bhikkhave, satta saṁyojanānī”ti.

These are the seven fetters.”
