“Dvemāni, bhikkhave, dānāni. Katamāni dve? Āmisadānañca dhammadānañca. Imāni kho, bhikkhave, dve dānāni. Etadaggaṁ, bhikkhave, imesaṁ dvinnaṁ dānānaṁ yadidaṁ dhammadānan”ti.
“There are these two kinds of giving. What two? The giving of material things and the giving of the Dhamma. These are the two kinds of giving. Of these two kinds of giving, the giving of the Dhamma is the best.”

“There are these two kinds of shared enjoyment. What two? Shared enjoyment of material things and shared enjoyment of the Dhamma. These are the two kinds of shared enjoyment. Of these two kinds of shared enjoyment, shared enjoyment of the Dhamma is the best.”

“There are these two kinds of sharing. What two? Sharing of material things and sharing of the Dhamma. These are the two kinds of sharing. Of these two kinds of sharing, sharing of the Dhamma is the best.”
