The "Connected Discourses with Sāmaṇḍaka" features a series of conversations between venerable Sāriputta and the wanderer Sāmaṇḍaka. Following the same systematic pattern as the discourses with Jambukhādaka, Sāmaṇḍaka asks direct questions about core Buddhist concepts — such as Nibbāna, the noble eightfold path, and the purpose of the spiritual life — and Sāriputta responds with clear, concise explanations. This collection also includes a discourse on the difficulties of going forth, finding contentment, and practicing in line with the teaching.
