“idhāhaṁ, āvuso, sabbaso ākāsānañcāyatanaṁ samatikkamma anantaṁ viññāṇanti viññāṇañcāyatanaṁ upasampajja viharāmi …pe… vuṭṭhitoti vā”ti.
Chaṭṭhaṁ.
Venerable Sāriputta tells Ānanda that in private retreat he entered and remained in the dimension of infinite consciousness by going totally beyond the dimension of infinite space, explaining how his faculties grew clear and his complexion bright through that meditation.
