“idhāhaṁ, āvuso, sabbaso rūpasaññānaṁ samatikkamā paṭighasaññānaṁ atthaṅgamā nānattasaññānaṁ amanasikārā ananto ākāsoti ākāsānañcāyatanaṁ upasampajja viharāmi …pe… vuṭṭhitoti vā”ti.
Pañcamaṁ.
Venerable Sāriputta tells Ānanda that in private retreat he entered and remained in the dimension of infinite space by going beyond all form and perceptions of resistance, explaining how his faculties grew clear and his complexion bright through that meditation.
