Brahmin Tikaṇṇaperson

The brahmin Tikaṇṇa praises mastery of the three Vedas; the Buddha contrasts it with mastery of the three true knowledges in the noble training—recollection of past lives, knowledge of beings' passing and rebirth, and the ending of defilements.
