Wanderer Sāmaṇḍakaperson

Venerable Sāriputta teaches the wanderer Sāmaṇḍaka that extinguishment is the ending of greed, hate, and delusion and that the noble eightfold path is the practice for realizing it, applying the same formula as the discourses with Jambukhādaka across this grouped range.

Venerable Sāriputta teaches the wanderer Sāmaṇḍaka that going forth, contentment after going forth, and practicing in line with the teaching are each hard to do—but one who practices accordingly need not take long to become a perfected one.
