Brahmin Kūṭadantaperson
1 discourse
Preparing to slaughter thousands of animals for a grand ritual, the brahmin Kūṭadanta seeks guidance from the Buddha. Rather than condemning him outright, the Buddha transforms the concept of sacrifice: progressing from non-violent social generosity and moral discipline to meditation and spiritual liberation, showing what truly yields the highest fruit.
